Rotate the head and pull it out to the first gear. If it goes up, it will adjust the calendar gear. If it goes down, the hour hand will become monotonous (the minute hand remains stationary). Pull to the second gear to adjust the time normally (the 24-hour watch circle on the sub dial moves accordingly)
